Bethesda Update!

My Favorite band Bethesda just released their very first Album! Its called "Simply Said" . I am so excited for them and for the beautiful creation of music that pours out of their beings. They are beautiful. You can go to their myspace page to hear a few of their songs. They have my favorite song " Three Encounters" on there with a violin and cello piece newly added to the track. Here is a pic of them at their latest concert...

Garden Update!

Well, Fall is here and the garden is slowing down. The potatoes are growing well underneath the soil while the basil and parsley are still exploding above ground! Very Exciting!

We only managed to grow one Pumpkin this fall and he is a little guy. But I am still excited to crunch one some baked pumkin seeds smothered with sea salt and garlic!

Our spinach dried up about two months ago now with little to no hope in growing more. I thought I would try out an experiement in replanting the seeds from the spinch earlier in the season. For two whole months nothing happened. I kept watering them and fertilizing them but still nothing. Well today as I was inspecting the progress of the garden I saw baby spinach shooting out ot the ground all over the place! SUCCESS! My experiment worked but with realy weird results. Why in the world would they have come up two months later after planting them? Oh the miracles of nature, shockingly delightful!

Bethesda!

My favorite band Bethesda just had another show last Friday evening at the D.I.T. Fest. It was awesome! Unfortunately they don't have any solid recordings right now but they are fixing that this Saturday so I will put a link up soon to that. If you haven't heard of them before they are a group of 5, Shanna Eric, Dan, Jesse and Justin, who all attend my church, The Vineyard Community Church in Kent. Their blend of bells, guitars, bass, drums and horns are rhythmically delightful to your ears and accompany their creative and thoughtful lyrics well.
